The 2014 Triumph Daytona 675R Agree, Disagree? By Brandon Boness(Owner), Jul. 7, 2015 After many months of research and reading or watching every review I could find I decided to buy a 2014 Triumph Daytona 675R. My most recent bike to compare it to us my brother's Ducati 899 Panigale. To me the Daytona has a far better suspension and is equal in the transmission and brakes department... . I have a titanium Austin Racing exhaust and fuel controller with a free flowing aftermarket air filter. With those modifications the bike has an amazingly wide and strong power band. In roll on situations passing cars on the highway, the 899 can't run away from me. I truly believe that short of a liter bike the Daytona is the best sortbike money can buy. The quick shifter is smooth, brakes strong and fade free, flicks side to side with ease, holds a line through the corners like a train... I can't ask for anything else from a bike under $15,000.
